This is for a new modern production Mercedes W123 throttle pivot assembly. This all-metal design eliminates the age related failures of the original part. The originals worked fine for a while but in the long run it turned out to be one of Mercedes' rare design fails. Soft materials like nylon or plastic exposed to an engine compartment, which are also constantly moving against other metal components, tend to have a much shorter lifespan. 

 

This is made here in the USA of aluminum and hardened steel fasteners. This comes with a 2 Year Warranty to the original buyer as installed on the original car. Partial VIN required to register.

Before you begin removing your old part take photos of your current setup. Replacing this assembly is a matter of two 8mm bolts and a ball socket attachment. Compare the shape of the mounting base for the correct orientation.

Please ensure that your application is a diesel AND matches the fitment range. Correctly identifying a W123 throttle linkage can be tricky. The 240D had the most variations. Compare the shape of the base where it attaches to the firewall. This version fits most W123 diesels but not all of them and it won't fit any of the gas models.
