Double-bill of Gracie Fields films. In 'Molly and Me' (1945), out of work actress Molly Barry (Fields) bluffs her way into a housekeeping job for retired politician John Graham (Monty Wooley), and quickly sets about re-organising his life. In 'Stage Door Canteen' (1943), set in New York during World War 2, three enlisted men obtain a day pass en route to their posting, and attend the Stage Door Canteen - a venue where celebrities entertain and wait on the troops. Amongst those putting on a show for the boys are Harpo Marx, Gracie Fields, Ray Bolger and Katharine Hepburn.
