New never used. I opened them up to make sure of the condition of each plate. Please look at the condition and features of these salad plates in the photos.  These plates do have manufacture flaws and a few scratches on back. I show the flaws in the pictures.  I also want to point out what looks to be smudges on the back. I did do a slight wipe down with a towel but that could be due to that fact they are made from plant base material. These salad plates are made of plant base material.  BPA Free. Dishwasher Safe. Overall, they are in good condition, and again have never been used.
