This is a well maintained pre owned "Fishback" triangle "knife" edge snaffle bit AVB260 from the Professional's Choice Bob Avila Collection.  The bit features stainless steel rings and a solid copper fishback mouthpiece.  Due to the soft nature of copper, there is wear and some teeth marks on the mouthpiece.  This bit has 3 inch diameter rings with a 5-1/4 inch wide by 3/8 inch triangle edge mouth, that demands more respect without being harsh.  A fishback mouthpiece should not be used on young or untrained horses.  The triangle shape offers a bit more "bite" or correction without being too sharp or severe.  This bit is for horses that lean on the bit or are hard to rate.
