Rinse well. Boil for about 20 minutes, on low heat, in a ratio of 1 part quinoa : 2 parts water.
If soaked for a few hours in water, quinoa can be eaten raw.

A filling quinoa breakfast

Necessary products

3/4 cup water
1/4 cup quinoa, rinsed
2 tablespoons dried goji berries or dried blueberries
1 small banana
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon ground walnuts
1 tablespoon chopped almonds
1 tablespoon fresh pumpkin seeds

Method of preparation:
Bring 1/2 cup of water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add the quinoa. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, until liquid is absorbed, 12-15 minutes. Meanwhile, soak the fruit in the remaining water for 10 minutes. Drain. Cut the banana in half. Cut one half into cubes; crush the other.
Remove quinoa from heat; stir with a fork. Mix the mashed banana, almond milk, maple syrup, cinnamon and vanilla. Transfer to a separate bowl; add walnuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds, banana slices and goji berries. Serve with additional almond milk and maple syrup, if desired.
