CHINESE HOUSES is a wildflower that is indigenous to California but can be grown in almost all areas of North America. Chinese Houses are a fast growing Annual easily grown from seed. The blooms are white over light purple and usually occupies the top half of the 12-14" plant. These plants will bloom from late spring until fall or first frost. This plant likes rich, moist soil and full sun, but will tolerate poor soil and some shade. These seeds need light to germinate, so press 3 or 4 seeds per plant into loose soil about 10-12"apart without covering them. Keep moist until germination, about 14-21 Days. Using scissors, thin to the strongest single plant when there a couple of inches tall. Keep watered until mature, and then medium water and light fertilizer if needed. Chinese Houses will reseed if some plants are left alone to run out their life cycle. This is the host plant for the very cool Checkerspot Butterfly, so plant a few extra for them! 500+ Quality seeds. Thank You!
