A favorite old-fashioned biennial bathed in stunning clusters of sweetly scented, lilac-purple flowers from late spring to early summer, followed by interesting, opaque, papery, silver dollar sized seedpods in abundance from late summer thru to late winter. the seedpods are excellent in long lasting dried arrangements.
