Commemorative Kishima Japan Porcelain Pomander Potpourri Fragrance Cell
Kishima is a district located within the Saga Prefecture in Japan. It was established in 1932.
We had relatives living in Japan and the early 1980s so this must have been part of the 50-year commemorations.
It is unused.
There are 10 perforations around the body of the lid. Two delicate daisies with leaves reinforce the delicate top handle. The body is covered in delicate painted flowers. The whole of the piece is 4 inches tall by 3 3/8 inches wide.
