Offered is a large, hand-painted, vintage Chinese Macau style, porcelain ginger jar with lid. The motif includes large peonies and birds in flight. The background color of the jar is in a pale sage green. The large peony flowers, leaf and bird designs are hand etched and then outlined with thin black lines. They are painted in pale hues of peachy-pink, light teal, green and light yellow. The ginger jar is in excellent, pre-owned condition. There are no chips, cracks, repairs. The inside of the ginger jar and lid are clean. Please see photos for details on condition. This piece is unmarked, but is believed to have been made in the latter part of the 20th century, (possibly the 1980s given the peach/teal and green color concept).
