Harvard Classics Five-Foot Shelf of Books 1960 Registered Edition: Chaucer, Franklin, Machiavelli, Montaigne, Cellini, Luther..Library Decor

Harvard Classics are such handsome books with their gorgeous gemstone covers--they are great for office or library decor. Collectors seek them because they won't be printed again in these older editions--possibly not at all.

Very good vintage condition. Discoloration of text block (common with old books) and moderate shelf wear. Bindings are strong. Two have some spots on flyleaf. Lectures's text block is upside down due to a printer error (shown in last photo).

Fifty-third printing, 1960. They measure 8 and a half by 5 and a half inches--larger than some gemstone sets.
