RARE fine original antique color print depicts the treaty which ended a series of wars between the United States and the Barbary corsairs, pirates who operated out of the ports of Algiers on the coast of North Africa. The signing is taking place on the frigate "Guerriere", a British ship captured during the War of 1812 by the famous American frigate USS "Constitution".
