Oh, I just love this ring! This is an ORIGINAL ANTIQUE RING that was made in the ART DECO STYLE during the 1930s. It is handmade from PLATINUM (top) and 18K YELLOW GOLD (bottom and shank). The ring is centrally bezel-set with 1 OLD MINE CUT DIAMOND of G-H color, I clarity that weighs approx. .45 ctw. The inclusions are white, so the diamond looks good to the naked eye. The ring is also set with 40 ROSE CUT DIAMONDS of G to J color, VS to I clarity that weigh approx. 1.15 ctw. These diamonds have a .02 - .07 ct spread each and the total diamond weight is approx. 1.60 ctw.
The ring is detailed with 4 synthetic BLUE SAPPHIRES that weigh approx. .15 ctw. These sapphires are SQUARE SHAPED FRENCH CUTS that are CHANNEL SET with a darker blue color. Synthetic colored stones were common for the period. The ring measures 1-5/8” long by 1-5/8” at the widest point and it is 1/4” thick. The ring size is between 7 - 7.25 and the total weight is 7.9 grams. CLASSIC, ONE OF A KIND ART DECO DESIGN...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!
