- Reducing adapter allows for connecting and extending different size pipes or fittings, can be used with grease, fuels, LP and natural gas, refrigeration, instrumentation and hydraulic systems in low and medium pressure pipe line connections as well as air tools
- 1/8" Male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on one end and 1/4" female NPT threads on the other for connecting pipes with different ends
- Legines pipe fittings are made of CA360 or CA377 brass, not ordinary copper alloy, and meet SAE standard, have dryseal threads, forgings & extruded.
- Operating pressure of our fittings is up to 1200psi, more higher than other general fittings. Temperatures range from -53 to 121 degrees C (-65 to 250 degrees F)
- These fittings contain lead and are not allowed by federal law to be installed for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories.

Reducing Pipe Adaptor Fitting
· Good raw material of CA377 brass with ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability has higher strength, higher hardness,meets the SAE standard.
· Male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on one end and female NPT threads on the other for connecting pipes with different ends.
· Adapter for connecting pipes or fittings of different types and size. Meet NPTF requirement of US, better than NPT thread, could be used as NPT thread, too.

This fitting is hex head design for easy removing by wrench and other tools;
It is made of solid brass for high pressure and temperature.
0.12 Inch Thickness
The thickness of female side is about 0.12 inch(3mm), it is strong for connecting 1/4" npt male brass, bronze and iron pipes.
Smooth Threads & Dry Seal
The threads is very smooth with no burrs, don't worry about hurry your hand.
NPT threaded is dry seal pipe threads, don't need seal tape.
