Primitive Antique Wooden Storage Chest Box w/Skelton Key Lock, Square Nails.

Very nice medium-sized chest.  The wooden chest was constructed with square nails and leather hinges that have dried rotted

Has a working locking mechanism, which also includes the key. 

Inside the box, it has a wooden divider.

There is a handwritten message.  The message appears that this chest was gifted on July 8th, 1846.

The chest measures 19.25" across, 10.5" deep and stands 10" tall.  The chest weighs 9 lb 7 oz.
