Heavy Duty version of the standard U-joint used by Mercruiser, OMC, and Volvo Penta Stern Drives.

The retaining clips for this U-Joint are on the inside of the caps.

It can be used in place of the regular U-Joints, and usually came standard with OMC Cobras and Volvo SX drives or any drive with a Big Block Engine.
