Description
Rare original Bill of Lading from the Mississippi Steamer Kate Dickson dated September 26th 1881 which ran passengers from St. Louis down Mississippi river to New Orleans and as far down the Ohio river to Cincinnati and Pittsburgh. The Kate Dickson was known as a very fast and eloquent paddleboat and at one time carried the Cincinnati Red Stockings to play the Louisville Colonels in a major league baseball game.
