For your consideration I have a Warren County, Mississippi document from the city of Vicksburg ( Auditor of Public Affairs) petioning financial assistance for a number of indigent famalies as a result of their father perishing in the Civil War.
The one-page letter dated November 21st 1866 list the widow's name and number of surviving children.
Actual original size 7' 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches/ Damage as shown to the top of letter resulting in loss of text.
