The Bake Element is an OEM component specifically designed for Frigidaire electric wall ovens and ranges. This coil-style element provides intense heat from below for baking, broiling, and warming food items.  The proper functioning of the bake element allows for versatile cooking functions.

Symptoms of a bad bake element include:

• Uneven or insufficient heat distribution below dishes
• Slow or inefficient baking even on high-temperature settings   
• Premature failure of calibration or bake time cooking modes

Causes of failure can include normal material fatigue from years of heating and cooling cycles, cracks or damage from abrasive cleaning, or issues affecting the element coil.

This part is also compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and certain Kenmore wall ovens and electric ranges
