These are my 2 favorite pots, I have been collecting it for a long time from Japan and of course they are antiques, artisan signatures are too old, maybe over 50 years old.
If you love contrasting displays then you should see the magic from them, I collected it at 2 different times but with a strange coincidence
Why I call them the art of contrasts:
Lines: one is drawn from straight lines and the other is curved
Shape: square and round, square represents the strong man, and round represents the softness of woman. Vietnamese people think so
Material: Ceramic, unglaze and the other is glazed
Theme: a mountain sculpture and an enamel that flows like waves crashing against the shore.
Color: the color of terracotta and the color of the ocean, you know: the land and the ocean are the two main components of the earth, they always have their own boundaries. And they represent everything on earth.
Weight: one shoe and heavy, one thin and light
Number of pins: one for even and one for odd
