Synopsis:
In 1930, in Shanghai, Wei Ruolai, as an ordinary employee of the Nationalist Party's central bank, gradually gained recognition from senior advisor Shen Tunan for his outstanding work abilities. During this process, Wei Ruolai witnessed numerous corruption and darkness in the financial sector of the Kuomintang. In the midst of confusion and distress, Communist Party member Shen Jinzhen used Marxism as a guiding light to illuminate Wei Ruolai's heart. Different choices ultimately led him and Shen Tunan to part ways. Under the arrangement of the organization, Wei Ruolai and Shen Jinzhen were transferred from Shanghai to Jiangxi. Under the strong leadership of the Party, Wei Ruolai participated in the war to crush the Nationalist Party's economic blockade of the Central Soviet Area, gradually growing into a red financier who dominated our Party's economic front.
