This large fused glass bowl is handmade from recycled tabletop glass. Spikey, triangular shaped pieces were salvaged to make this unique bowl. They were arranged in a large bowl mold and fused in a kiln. The transparent glass has a beautiful aqua tint. The result is a decorative dish that looks like frozen ice in the shape of a flower.
The petals gradually increase in size as you move out from the bowl's center.
Edges are uneven and curved in places. Bottom may be rough. Inside has glass chunks in places which add to its character.
This is truly a gorgeous piece. Use just for decorative purposes as a sculpture, for holding fruit, dried flowers, or other decorative items. The glass has open sections between pieces so it is not recommended for liquids.
Weight is 3 lbs, 2 oz. Top is purposely uneven and at its highest is approx 5". At the widest it is approximately 8" across. The bottom is approximately 4 1/2" across. Glass thickness is 1/2" thick.
Each bowl I make is unique and may vary slightly from the photos but remains true to the design.
