Description
Willow Tree is an intimate line of figurative sculptures that speak in quiet ways to heal, comfort, protect and inspire. Artist Susan Lordi hand carves the original of each figure from her studio in Kansas City Missouri. Pieces are cast from her original carvings, and individually painted by hand. Expression is revealed through gestures only… a tilt of the head, placement of the hands, a turn of the body. The simplicity of form and absence of facial features signify Willow Tree. It is Susan’s hope that these pieces be meaningful to both giver and receiver.
This sculpture represents a couple who's navigating life together – the joys, the challenges, and the daily decisions that come with being a family. A wedding, anniversary or Valentine’s Day gift that expresses love and caring. A gift that celebrates mid-life relationships and family. This figure works well in Family Groupings. It can also represent older brother and sister, or mother with grow n son.

Refunds will only be given if an item is grossly misrepresented. I try my best to give very accurate descriptions. Refunds for clothing will not be given if "it doesn't fit". I provide detailed and specific measurements of clothing. Please keep in mind that all manufacturers use different sizing methods. Please use the measurements I provide against your own clothing, laying flat. My home is smoke free/pet free.
