Description
This "Onyx" wedding dress by Catherine Deane for BHLDN Anthropologie is the perfect blend of elegance and romance.
Size 2.
Ivory ( I believe the official color name was "champagne.")
Delicate tulle over 100% silk. The silk is similar to a liquid satin. The tulle and embroidery are rayon and polyamide.
Embroidery elevates it to a gown of absolute beauty.
Narrow straps with lingerie-style adjusters.
The fitted bodice is silk, with embroidered tulle overlay.
Built-in padded bra with underwires.
Boning.
The upper back of the bodice is sheer tulle (unlined) which shows off the embroidery.
The roses in the design have embroidered silk applique to give dimension.
Invisible side zip.
Long detachable silk tie sash, ruched at front. (It would also look lovely with a bridal belt.)
Very full tulle skirt, double layer tulle, with balloon hem.
The tulle layer extends into a train in back.
The lining of the skirt is a double layer of bias cut silk.
Such stunning gown! Very chic!
In excellent very gently pre-owned condition, with no obvious signs of a previous life.
The only item to mention - the sash ends are raw edge. They appear to have been cut to have pointed tails like a ribbon. Not noticeable, and a very minor detail.
ORIGINAL PRICE: $1800.00.
From a smoke-free home.
