Vintage Hand Painted Chinese Limoges Style 8.75" Gold Moriage Satsuma Multi-Color Peonies Floral Pattern Vase Urn

This Vintage Chinese Vase Features a Colorful Peonies Pattern with Raised Gold Gilt Trim. 

It is much in the style of some of the Nippon coralene pieces I have seen, but the flowers are painted with enamels, and do not have the glass beads associated with coralene pottery. It does have heavy gold gilding, with raised satsuma beading, and the slip glaze raised gold moriage style outlines around the flowers.

It is marked on the base "LIMOGES CHINA". (Please note that this IS NOT LIMOGES from France, but is rather made in China.)

Measures approx. 8 3/4" tall x 5" across at its widest. Mouth diameter is 2 3/4".

It is a unique piece of art pottery that would make a stunning addition to any collection or decor.
