This set of Pattern 1885 Cavalry Bandsmen or Musician Shoulder Knots, has survived as an intact set, and shows little, if any, evidence of having been issued or used. Both shoulder knots are full form, have the complete lining on the underside, original general service buttons are in place, the brass mounting hooks are present, and the full length ties all retain the sealed tips. The color of the knots retains the issued colors, with no fading, soiling or discoloration.
