One antique English Victorian Majolica pottery tile. The tile is decorated in colours of grey, white, pink, green, and gold. This tile dates from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. Stamped on the underside H & R Johnson Ltd. The word Cristal across a shield or coat of arms is also stamped as well as England the numbers 0, 30, and 8" on the back of the tile. It measures 6". The usual edge roughness, crazing, and age-related staining. Both issues were easily remedied. Two of the corners of the tile have been nipped for a long-ago installation. No cracks or repairs.
