About the artist:
Best known for her work on such characters as Vampirella, Power Girl and Harley Quinn, Amanda Conner began her career in the late 1980’s at Archie and Marvel. Since then, she has worked on numerous titles and characters for a variety of publishers, including Birds of Prey and Before Watchmen for DC, Spider-Man and Deadpool for Marvel, as well as Painkiller Jane (co-created by Amanda’s husband, comic artist and writer Jimmy Palmiotti). Though one of her favorite movies, Amanda has never before illustrated a Star Wars cover. She has drawn one published Star Wars story – interior artwork for a 6-page adventure in Star Wars Tales #11 (1999) – as well as artwork for Star Wars Art: Comics hardback and one of the Star Wars Galaxy Topps trading cards.
