These are a fantastic pair of Advertising postcards from The Cunard-White Star Ltd: 1934–1949, featuring the opening of their Canadian line. This is the same company that featured the famous Titanic. The postcards list the ship's company locations in Canada and advertise in German, (translated to English), "Their sea voyage is now almost over and they will land soon. We expect that you will travel with our ships again and hope that we will then be able to offer you our usual standards of comfort and service in ocean traffic. Our offices in Canada are now available to advise you on all travel related questions at any time". These postcards have some damage as can be seen by the photos, but are otherwise in great condition and are rare.

The ship the RMS Samaria featured on these cards was a transatlantic ocean liner built for Cunard Line. She was completed in 1922 and served until 1955. In the Second World War she was a troopship in the Royal Navy.

Each card measures 16.5cm L x 10.5cm H
