Vintage Japanese Style Celluloid Clam Carving.

Nice scene of a cottage with truning water wheel beside the water where a boat is sailing past. There are chickens in the cottage garden and a little bridge across the water.

On the base Empire Made is printed.

The top of the shell is also carved with waved water and a mountain backdrop.

Please note tha\t there are a couple of chips to the celluloid at the bottom front edge of the clam shell. There is also ingrained dust in the carvings and so a thorough and careful clean is required.
