This interpretation of Britten's the Turn of the Screw by Michael Hampe was recorded in 1990 at the Schwetzinger SWR music festival in a co-production with the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and the Opera of Cologne. Das Opernglas praised Hampe for "doing great justice to this demanding work".
