The Khang Starr Ling pepper, also known as KS Ling pepper, is a chili pepper variety developed by Khang Starr, a well-known pepper grower and breeder. 
Latin Name: Capsicum annuum
 
Scoville Rating: This is an awesome cross he created by crossing his KS White Thai with another of his peppers, perhaps Lingria  to make a lower heat version of the White Thai. Scoville rating is unknown, but the one I grew had very little heat.
 
Days to Harvest: The Khang Starr Ling pepper typically takes around 90-100 days to reach maturity.
 
Leaf Color: The leaves are typically dark green.
 
Fruit Size and Color: The fruit of the Khang Starr Ling pepper is elongated and measures around 2-3 inches long. When fully ripe, the pepper is a deep red color.
 
Flavor Characteristics: The Khang Starr Ling pepper has a fruity, sweet flavor with a medium heat level.

Start indoors 10-14 weeks prior to last frost. Transplant to 4 inch pots when true leaves appear. Requires hardening. Transplant seedlings 24-36 inches apart in well-draining loamy soil. Water regularly.
