Vinyl plays with crackles and some clicks (play-graded). Gate-fold cover looks good; a few creases near edges; heavy scuffing and some surface impressions (front/back); inner-gate has light scuffing and some discoloration spots. Inner-sleeve is original (blue); small tear near top. Spine is mostly readable with wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of use and divots. (Not a cut-out.)
Over-Nite Sensation, is the twelfth album by The Mothers of Invention (credited as The Mothers), and the seventeenth album overall by Frank Zappa, released in September 1973. It was Zappa's first album released on his DiscReet label. Frank Zappa wanted to use backup singers on the songs I'm the Slime, Dirty Love, Zomby Woof, Dinah-Moe Humm and Montana. His road manager suggested The Ikettes, and Ike & Tina Turner were contacted. I'm the Slime was released as a single.
