Should that be the case with yours, you may evaluate if boring out the hole in each leg piece using a drill bit the same diameter and/or length as the pin, will allow it to fit without impairing the functionality of the 8 tiny pins perpendicular to the main pin core. There are also table bases where the original pin only had 4 tiny nubs, instead of 8, and if that's the case, this pin will not work in those bases.***
