Celluloid French Nano by Convert doll
She measures 23”
She is jointed at arms, legs, head, & wrists
This is a Beautiful large vintage Celluloid Baby Doll made by Convert and Company. These dolls were made around the 1930s. This particular doll is made of lightweight celluloid plastic with a young baby shaped body with a pudgy belly and belly button. Her beautiful face features bright blue eyes, attached hair eye lashes, very thin eyes brows, lightly rosy cheeks, a bright red mouth and very dark wavy (almost black) sculpted short hair. Features beautiful detailed hands and feet. She poses and sits well and her wrists rotate for posing.
Condition- very good, some minimal age wear, loose elastic bands In limbs and head, still stays together well for dressing and display, I don’t know how to tighten them. If pulled they show a small gap. I included a photo showing me gently pulling on her arm to show inner band & slight gap when pulled. She has a mark by one of her knees. See all photos for exact condition.
On the back of her upper back, It bears a drawing of a mill and the model number 55. Attributed to the French Brand Convert.
She comes with everything pictured, dress, hat, booties, cloth diaper, 2 headbands, pacifier, toy, bib, necklace, bracelet, and pink/purple crochet blanket. White satin blanket is a photo prop, not included.
