"SPRING IN ORGAN PIPE CACTUS NATIONAL MONUMENT" BY DARWIN VAN CAMPEN. This photograph was taken last April after spring rains had shed their blessings on usually dry desert soil. The Monument itself is unusually rich in cacti growth. The senita cactus is a very rare cactus plant found in some parts of Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument and in a few areas bordering the Monument. It resembles the Organ Pipe.
