Northpole has showy white flowers and large, bright red, tasty McIntosh-type fruit that is crisp, juicy and aromatic. Because columnar apple trees have a naturally upright, single stemmed growth pattern they are ideal for small yards where space is a premium. Despite its small footprint, it is productive and rewards with a good harvest of premium apples. Fruit ripens late August, early September. These plants are grafted onto semi-dwarf rootstock.
