Vintage Blue Delft Style Floral Cafe Coffee Mill Burr Grinder Porcelain, Wood, Metal NOS
This vintage manual hand turned coffee grinder is a charming addition to any kitchen or collection.
The blue and white floral pattern on the body adds a touch of whimsy to the porcelain, metal, and wood design. The front of the grinder has a small wooden drawer, which pulls out to empty your ground coffee beans. Whole coffee beans are poured into the top metal receptacle and ground using the hand crank. The metal receptacle is blued for a stylish appearance, and to protect against corrosion.
NEW OLD STOCK ~ NO BOX. Never used, has been sitting on the shelf at a warehouse for over 35 years. There is a fine hairline crack visible on the underside of the wood base. It just appears it was a flaw in the wood from the timeof manufacture. Can't be seen unless turned over, and in no way affects the stability or functionality of the grinder.(see last pic) There are a couple of tiny yellow specks or stains to the body. No other flaws or defects noted. Metal is shiny with no rust or corrosion, and no loss of bluing. No damage to the porcelain body.
There are 4 white circular paper tabs on the base covering where the screws are.
Measures approx. 7 3/4" to the top of handle x 4 5/8" square at the base.
Weighs 1 lb. 10 oz. prior to packaging.
