This listing is for one
Vintage Mens STETSON Medalist Black Felt Bowler Derby Hat
The hat was made for the Kleinhans Company of Buffalo, NY. Kleinhans was
a fine men's wear department store in BUFFALO, NY (1893 - 1992).
I'm not 100% sure of the size, however, a label under the sweatband
reads 750 on it. I believe it may mean size 7 1/2. The hat is being sold
as is. The leather sweatband is partially detached and the seam of the
sweatband in the rear of the hat is unraveling (see pictures). It may
require some light cleaning from dust. There is no significant odor and
there are some light sweat stains on the inside of the beige liner.
After some research, I believe this hat may have been manufactured
between the 1950's and the 1970's.
This listing is for the hat only.
An interested viewer suggested that I measure the circumference of the
hat, I did and it appears to be 22 inches.
The size charts I have seen
say a 22 inch circumference is size 7 for a hat.
Another person asked me to measure the length and width of the head opening. I did and posted new pictures. It measures approximately 6" x 8"
