Several online are advertised as brass, but it looks like copper to me.

The inside is particle board. Particle board was first introduced by Germany in 1887.
The hinged mirrored door opens and there are 2 brushes are inside.
Measures approx. 24" high x 13.5" wide x 3" deep.
In good condition, there may be wear or minor cracks I couldn't see. I did not clean it.
