COMMSCOPE's 7642133-01 Universal Access Point (UAP) is the point of signal radiation for the ION-E system and can be wall or ceiling mounted. The UAP incorporates enhanced power over Ethernet (PoE) and is connected to the system via CAT 6a cable. A second RJ45 jack supports 1 GB pass-through or an additional UAP. Universal access point broadcasts up to 300 MHz of RF spectrum in four bands. Plus it has a gigabit Ethernet port for ancillary devices.
