- The Tungsten Electrode Sharpener comes with 4 Brass Tungsten Guide Screws: 040", 1/16", 3/32" and 1/8" (1mm, 1.6mm, 2.4mm, 3.2mm). The guides ensure concentricity and multi-offset. Increase the utilization of the grinding wheels. When grinding, the position of the copper screw can be exchanged to obtain your desired angles of the tungsten needle. - A tungsten grinding tool has 4 angled holes. 22.5°, 20°, 15° and 10° (45°, 40°, 30°, 20° Tips Angle respectively). Precise control support grinds more perfectly tungsten angle tips. All holes are designed to touch the same height as the diamond wheel, no need to set repeatedly. The open design allows the grinding wheel to be easily installed and aligned. The sharpening tool also has tungsten cut-off port processing, which can cut the used balled electrodes for re-insert and grinding.

Tungsten electrodes of varying diameters are typically used in conventional welding procedures practiced in a wide variety of industries. During such procedures, an arc is established between the metal to be welded and the end, or point, of each electrode. The electrode point becomes worn or damaged over time, resulting in inadequate or interrupted current transmission. As the quality and efficiency of welds are highly dependent upon the condition of the electrode point, it is important that the point be dressed, or reshaped and sharpened, as needed during welding operations.

Comparison of the first generation and the second generation Tungsten Electrode Grinder Head Sharpener features:
- Angle: The tip angle is more precise than the previous generation.
- Grinding angle problem: In addition to the angle of the needle tip, there is also a director of the grinding mark on the surface of the tip. This state is perfect when the tungsten needle is projected vertically on the grinding wheel, that is when the tungsten needle is parallel to the tangent line.
- Grinding wheel utilization: The first generation of four contacts are on the same ring; the second generation of dispersion distribution uses as much as possible of all corundum.
- Material: The first generation is plastic, (plastic is soft and easy to thread & melt at high temperatures, not recommended); The second generation is aluminum alloy, which is sturdy and durable.
- Installation problem: The new model does not need to adjust the position of the grinding wheel repeatedly. The middle cut-out design only leaves two columns, which can be installed in one step, and the grinding wheel is aligned with the slit, and the position is accurate.

INSTALLATION Illustration
INSTALLATION:
1) Unscrew the top collar on Rotary Tool, and choose the correct size collet for the 1/8” mandrel.
2) Install the Angle Controller as shown in Picture-1.
3) Connect the mandrel with the Diamond wheel, and set it in your rotary tool. As Picture-2.
4) Adjust the height of the diamond wheel. Screw the collet when you are sure the Below of the Long window is on the same PLANE as the top face of the diamond wheel. As Picture-3.
5) Always wear Eye Protection, Respiratory Protection, and Protective clothing when using the Angles Controller and when welding.

Use this tungsten grinder head angle controller to maximize welding performance. Grinding wheels should be made of small granularity diamond or borazon. Grind longitudinally and concentrically so that the lines on the ground surface move in the same direction as the length of the tungsten electrode and the electrode has no flat spots.
- Compared with some other big grinders, their traces may be relatively straight, but the grinding angle is not accurate enough. The tungsten needle tip has a concave arc and can't be carried around, expensive ;
- Our grinder head is that the traces may be slightly curved(Quite slight, and it's an unavoidable problem with grinding on rotating objects), but the angle is accurate, the weight is light, easy to carry and use, and cost-effective.
