This is a correspondence lot which includes 3 original letters with original signatures by Senator James Eastland of Mississippi, who was Chairman of the Judiciary Committee at that time.  There are also photocopies on thin paper, and related correspondence.  Letters are to a Mississippi judge and involve clearing up immigration matters for a Chinese national, and are dated in 1966.

There are 3 original Senator Eastland signatures, and also copies of related correspondence.  And two envelopes.  One envelope has a tear and some hand written notations.  Letters are in very good condition.  Two letters are signed Jim Eastland and one is signed Jim.
