Saucer Floral Trim Made In Japan Raised Edge Candle Tray Round 50s MCM Design.

I am not sure how this piece was originally designed to be used, but it is a perfect sau era for a candle. It could also be perfect for petit fours or candies. I have seen matching tea cups and saucers, but not dinnerware. Perhaps it was originally made as part of a tea set to rest the Teapot or cream/sugar bowl on.  It's a lovely home accent decor item.
