It took us a while to design this symbolic "Guardian Lion" Memorial Urn, sorting through many actual pictures of "The King of Beasts" and trying to create the right feel and position. At first, we made the urn box and then added the sculpture on top.  Our Lion is not sleeping, he is guarding the final resting place. For casting material, we use polymer resin/ crushed stone mixture and finish it by hand with a Silver patina. This technique allows us to implement the look of real metal without real metal casting expenses.

This is a large capacity urn of about 350 cubic inches, which is big enough to accommodate cremains (ashes) of a person weighing up to 350 pounds.   Size: 12 (L) x 7.25 (W) x 10 (H) inches. It's bottom-loaded with a 4-inch threaded security plug. The urn's bottom is felted to protect surfaces.
