This canister was made for Avon in 1982.  It displays a floral pattern of pinks and blues.  The script states "Mother...another name for love - 1982".  There is some dulling of gold edges consistent with age of item- over 40 yrs. The eight sided octagon shape is unique. The inside is clean and lid fits tightly.  One small ding can be found on one side. Stamped canister made in England created for Avon . Measures 4.5" on each side x 2.75" deep. Look for other vintage tins in my booth.
