This is a very beautifully embroidered picture of a house surrounded by purple and yellow flowers and some trees with a quote beneath that reads “A FRIENDLY HOUSE BY THE SIDE OF THE ROAD WITH A FRIENDLY WELCOME FOR YOU”. The picture and the words are all cross-stitched onto a linen fabric and glued to a paperboard backing from an old picture frame. There is an embroidered red and blue border with yellow accents around the picture and a 90 degree yellow embellishment in each of the four corners inside the picture area. This is an old picture, but it's exact age isn't certain. The linen and stitching are in very good conditions with no tears or loose threads, but there are some discolorations that look like moisture stains along the bottom edge. Fortunately, the marks are all outside of the embroidered borderline and would be unnoticeable if the picture was placed inside of a frame with a matte. It may be possible to remove the stains, but that would be up to it's new owner to decide. The dimensions of the picture are 10”W x 14”H with the embroidered borders measuring approximately 8 1/2”W x 12”H. We offer FREE SHIPPING for this item to any USA destination!
