This is a collection of previously printed pieces (though there is some original material as well) on "the twilight woman", i.e. the lesbian, "as she sees herself, and as she is seen through the eyes of others". This, of course, is from the viewpoint of 1960, so it is a significant book for those interested in gay history. 256 pages, 13 pieces, fiction and nonfiction, including some by editor Ann Aldrich (Marijane Meeker, perhaps the leading popular writer on the subject in the '60s). Some general wear, mainly on the spine, but not bad; moderate page toning and an old price written on the inside back cover. A very collectible paperback on the subject.
