Item Description
This is the NBA Preview issue and as such it is a thick 180 pages with a full 64 pages devoted to the upcoming season.
The Pistons are very prominent in this issue with 2 articles. One on the bitterness related to the Pistons abandoning downtown Detroit (6 pages, 6 photos plus a double-page photo of The Palace during a game titled "PALACE COUP") & the feature article on Bill Laimbeer (10 pages, 9 photos).
Other hoop articles include: the Lakers Sam Perkins / Earl Strom (w/a full page photo) / forecasts and the great SI photography.
Other articles include: the calamitous Breeders Cup (w/a series of photos showing Go For Wand snapping her foreleg) / the Oilers Warren Moon (w/a large photo) / Evander Holyfield beating Buster Douglas, and much more.
The condition is very good with normal wear and a series of light cover wrinkles, the card insert ad has been removed and one page is wrinkled . And all of our magazines are shipped with cardboard backing and wrapped in plastic for protection.
