Paper size of this photo print is 2 3/4" x 4 3/4". On unmarked standard print paper. This print was very likely made soon after it was taken and likely at Saipan itself or on a ship there. This came to me as part of a group identified as being Saipan and included was a shot of the base Chapel which confirms it. The exact date was not noted and as the island is listed in Guinness as being the most consistent climate we can't really tell what time of year this is.

This photograph shows the interior of the completed original Saipan Memorial Chapel. It might be the only such photo existing, at the least I could not find another on the internet anywhere.

Very Good condition, a nicely surviving example with only hint of age to the paper.
