HAND-SIGNED AND NUMBERED #1092 of 1500. This is a specially bound book, hand signed and numbered on a parchment page bound into the book. This is not the ones you will see if you do a search in other sites. However you will see a review of the book and rating of what the critics thought of the plain one. Description: Condition is Brand New, Never Shelved, Not a Remainder. Only removed from the outer shipper to photograph it. In a lifetime only a few exquisite items, produced to the highest quality in any given field, come along and of those items we may have a chance to see only a few of them. This is one of them. Bound in a soft tan, velour-like material, placed inside a clam-shell slipcase (covered in the same material) to protect it and printed on the richest quality paper you will likely ever find. The text on the outside slipcase and inner cover is gold as well as the outer edge of the pages, also. As impressive as this is the author and publishers added some details you will go a long way to surpass. Instead of signing on a regular page of the book, Mr Lanting signed and numbered on a page that looks like parchment but is as thin as onion skin. This page is bound into the book. Also included into the front part of the clamshell case is included an Ilfochrome (formerly know as a Cibachrome) print, approximately 8" x 10" in size. If you have ever seen one you will know why these are prised highly by collectors of fine photographic prints. They are specially printed on a plastic-like paper through special processes to produce a brilliance and depth of color that is unsurpassed by any other means of photo reproduction to date. To handle them you should wear a pair of cotton gloves so as not to leave fingerprints or get dust on it. Usually these prints are mounted, framed and sealed. This is a book you keep and pass down. If I did not have another edition I would not sell this one.
